A Write-on-site group is a way to build in writing time and accountability. Write-on-site accountability is simple: you show up at the designated time and place, you settle in, and you work for whatever time period you’ve promised yourself. Participants in various write on sites for the last few years have reported the importance of adding this routine to their weekly schedule as well as the value of write-on-sites for helping guard and protect the time they dedicate to writing each day.
If you’d like to join a write on site, just bring your laptop or whatever writing materials you need and get started. You can come for as much or as little of the writing tie as you choose. Please forward this page to anyone on campus who may be interested: this is an open invitation to anyone who wants to set up on- campus writing time/space and have added personal accountability. We have personally found that the more people writing, the more the writing energy moves through the room.
Write-on-site groups will begin September 7th and continue until the last week of classes.
Please see the following pages for the days and times for Fall 2015 Write-on-Sites. If you have any questions, please contact: Tiffany M. Gill, UD Faculty Success Program Coordinator, tgill@udel.edu.
