As part of regular learning space upgrades by IT University Media Services, some rooms now have improved sound of you and your students when you use UD Capture to record your course.

However, if you don’t plan to use the projector to show a laptop or document camera but still want sound recorded with UD Capture, there are a few steps to take to activate the microphones in the room.

Using the touch panel in the classroom:

  1. One touch to wake up if blank.
  2. One touch to dismiss the Welcome screen.
  3. Select a source screen– stop here if not projecting. The microphones are now active.
  4. When finished, select “End Session.”

Should you have questions about UD Capture, contact IT ATS at udcapture@udel.edu or visit us in the Faculty Commons (Pearson 116).
