We are happy to announce that Zoom has now been fully integrated with UD Capture! With this new integration, recorded Zoom meetings can be automatically saved to both the Zoom cloud and to your My Media section in Canvas and UD Capture Space.
To activate your Zoom integration complete the following steps. You only need to complete these steps once.
- Log in to UD Capture Space.
- Log out of Zoom in your browser, the Zoom desktop application, and the Zoom mobile application if you are logged in.
- Sign back into Zoom (browser or app) to complete the Zoom integration.
The recent UD Capture enhancements also allow you to share, edit, or create a quiz using your Zoom recordings and easily share the media with your students in Canvas using the Media Gallery. In addition, your videos will be made searchable and accessible with automatic transcripts and closed captions.
You will still have the option of saving your Zoom meeting recordings to your local computer instead of the cloud.
UD Capture Migration
Don’t forget! If you have recordings in the UD Capture Archives, you will need to migrate those recordings to UD Capture Space by July 1, 2020. UD Capture aArchives will be retired on July 1, 2020. To migrate your recordings, use the UD Capture Migration Tool. Your 2017 and 2018 recordings have already been migrated to your “My Media” tool in Canvas.
