Midterms are a stressful time for students and faculty alike. Taking just a few minutes to let students know about the mental health supports available to them can make a significant difference for those students who need it the most. UD’s counselling services have a wide variety of appointment types and group sessions, and even if students do not feel as though they are in crisis, they can participate in programs that will help lower their overall anxiety and stress. Share this information with your students so that they can learn more about these resources too.

For those students who just need a little extra help studying, getting organized, or getting their time managed well, there are many services offered through the Office of Academic Enrichment. Students might not know about these options, which include test-taking preparation and time management, as well as drop-in tutoring. Consider linking OAE’s calendar on your Canvas site and making an announcement to let students know they have programs regularly available.
