Zoom Video Communication, Inc. is requiring a new update be installed prior to Saturday, May 30, in order for users to continue hosting or participating in Zoom meetings.
Zoom 5.0 is available now and our UD community is strongly encouraged to install the update as soon as possible due to the enhanced security features and controls. To verify the version of Zoom you have installed, visit Zoom’s Help Center Page, Viewing the Zoom Version Number. To get the latest version of Zoom, you may use the “Check for Updates” feature in Zoom or Download Zoom 5.0 from the UD page. If you are using a managed machine, you do/do not need to take additional steps.
Regarding your directions to use the “Check for Updates” feature in Zoom — I can’t find such a feature anywhere. Where do we access this?
Hi Chandra,
You can check for updates by following these instructions:

Thanks!
Hi Paul,
My problem is, it says that once logged in to click on my profile picture in the upper right and then click on “check for updates” — but clicking on that profile icon doesn’t give me any option to “check for updates.” All that appears is my name, email, the word “licensed” and “log out” option. If I click on my name, it brings up my profile page — but I don’t see any option anywhere to check for updates.
