Last year, almost 60 faculty from across UD spent a full day working in teams to draft or refine the educational goals for their programs. This year, the program returns (virtually) to offer the same structured, yet collaborative, design experience.

The 2021 Winter Institute on Learning (WIL) will help faculty in degree-granting programs focus on two processes critical to guiding and understanding student learning: (a) creating or revising program educational goals and (b) creating or revising a program assessment plan. The institute is intended for small groups of faculty (2-5 people) who will learn processes and develop drafts of materials to be shared with and further developed with other faculty in their program. Depending on their needs, faculty can participate in one or both parts of the institute.

Some programs have already been contacted about participating in this year’s WIL. If seats remain by November 18th, all interested programs will be welcome to apply. Learn more via the WIL website where the application will be accessible starting November 18th. Programs will be notified about their participation the week of December 14th”
